Ingredients

Fruit Base

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced

Sweeteners & Flavorings

  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • A splash of lemon juice

Dairy

  • 1 cup yogurt (plain or vanilla)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Hull and slice the fresh strawberries and slice the ripe bananas to ensure they blend smoothly.
  2. Blend Mixture: In a blender, combine the sliced strawberries, bananas, honey or maple syrup, yogurt, and a splash of lemon juice. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy with no large chunks remaining.
  3. Fill Molds: Pour the blended mixture evenly into popsicle molds, leaving a small gap at the top to allow for expansion as they freeze.
  4. Insert Sticks: Place popsicle sticks into each mold carefully, ensuring they are centered and upright.
  5. Freeze: Place the molds in the freezer for at least 4 to 6 hours or until the popsicles are completely solid.
  6. Release Popsicles: To remove the popsicles from the molds easily, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds, then gently pull out the popsicles.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Enjoy these healthy, fruity popsicles as a cool and refreshing snack on hot days!

Notes

  • You can substitute honey with maple syrup to make the recipe vegan-friendly.
  • Use plain yogurt for a more tart flavor or vanilla yogurt for extra sweetness.
  • Add a little more lemon juice if you prefer a tangier popsicle.
  • For a dairy-free version, use coconut or almond milk yogurt.
  • Store popsicles in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
