This Viral Trader Joe's Dumpling Bake is an easy and flavorful one-dish meal featuring frozen potstickers baked in a creamy, savory Thai-inspired red curry sauce. Topped with fresh cilantro, green onions, and crunchy chili crisp, this recipe transforms simple frozen dumplings into a deliciously saucy and aromatic casserole perfect for a quick dinner.

Ingredients

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Soyaki sauce
  • 3/4 bottle Thai-style red curry sauce (prepared simmer sauce, not red curry paste)
  • 1 cup coconut milk (not sweetened coconut cream)
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup water

Main Ingredients

  • 20 frozen potstickers of choice

Garnish

  • Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 spoonful Crunchy Chili Onion or chili crisp

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) to prepare for baking the dumplings.
  2. Prepare the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together Soyaki sauce, Thai-style red curry sauce, coconut milk, minced garlic, and water until well combined to create a creamy, flavorful sauce.
  3. Arrange potstickers in baking dish: Place about 20 frozen potstickers evenly in a baking dish, spacing them so they cook evenly under the sauce.
  4. Add the sauce and bake: Pour the prepared sauce evenly over the potstickers, making sure each dumpling is well-coated. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.
  5. Bake dumplings: Place the covered baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30–40 minutes until the sauce is bubbling and potstickers are cooked through.
  6. Garnish and serve: Remove the foil and sprinkle the bake with freshly chopped cilantro, thinly sliced green onions, and a spoonful of Crunchy Chili Onion or chili crisp for added flavor and texture. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Use a baking dish large enough to fit 20 potstickers in a single layer for even cooking.
  • Do not use sweetened coconut cream; coconut milk is preferred for the right consistency and flavor.
  • If you prefer spicier, increase the amount of chili crisp garnish or add some to the sauce before baking.
  • Ensure the baking dish is covered tightly with foil to prevent the sauce from drying out while baking.
  • This dish can be customized with different styles of frozen potstickers or dumplings based on your preference.
