This Raspberry Moscato Cocktail is a deliciously refreshing drink combining fresh raspberries, sweet Moscato wine, and a splash of vodka. Light, fizzy, and fruity, it's perfect for warm evenings or festive gatherings, garnished with mint leaves and extra raspberries for an elegant touch.

Ingredients

Raspberry Puree

  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar (optional)

Alcoholic Mix

  • 4 ounces Moscato wine
  • 2 ounces vodka

Additional Ingredients

  • 1 cup sparkling water or club soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint leaves for garnish
  • Extra fresh raspberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Raspberry Puree: In a small bowl, combine the raspberries and sugar if using. Mash them thoroughly with a muddler or the back of a spoon until juicy and pulpy. For a smoother texture, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove the seeds.
  2. Mix the Cocktail: Pour the raspberry puree, Moscato wine, and vodka into a cocktail shaker. Add ice to fill the shaker halfway, seal tightly, and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to blend the flavors and chill the mixture.
  3. Serve the Drink: Fill two glasses with ice cubes. Strain the shaken cocktail mixture evenly into each glass, then top each with ½ cup of sparkling water or club soda to add a bubbly fizz.
  4. Garnish and Enjoy: Add a sprig of fresh mint and a few raspberries to each glass for a decorative and aromatic finish. Serve immediately for the best refreshing experience.

Notes

  • You can adjust the sweetness by adding or omitting the sugar depending on your taste and the sweetness of the Moscato.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, substitute Moscato and vodka with additional sparkling water infused with raspberry syrup.
  • Use chilled sparkling water and glasses for an extra cold cocktail.
  • If you prefer a more intense raspberry flavor, use fresh raspberry juice or frozen raspberries thawed and mashed.
